Jan 25, 2008 · So for the last 3 months or so, I've been using uTorrent quite a bit. But in the last week or so, it just won't open. It'll show up in task manager processes for a good 3 seconds then disappear. Nothing else happens. Thinking that maybe there was just some sort of update that failed, I uninstalled and reinstalled uTorrent. If you want to get rid of the program then you need to delete the utorrent folder that contains the uTorrent.exe then you need delete the utorrent folder from your application data, then delete any shortcuts and check you torrent isn't running in your start up items.
